COVID Update for Silver Lakes
Posted on Apr 15th, 2021

As you may know the Collier County mask mandate that was issued in October 2020 expired on Tuesday.  The mandate was not extended by the County commissioners. However, Collier County has advised residents and visitors to adhere to the following recommendations (which match the guidelines set by the CDC):

Indoor gatherings should be avoided with people outside your immediate household unless you are fully vaccinated. If you are fully vaccinated you should still take steps to protect yourself and others by wearing a mask, staying at least 6 feet apart from others, and avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces. Take these precautions whenever you are in public or gathering with unvaccinated people from more than one other household.
  •   As a result of this change, Silver Lakes will no longer require masks in buildings or at any outside amenities.
  •   There will be no limits to the number of people in the pools or clubhouses.
  •   Social distancing continues at all locations.
Because most residents have followed our COVID Guidelines here in the Park, we have been fortunate to have had less than ten cases and no deaths.  We encourage you to follow the above recommendations to keep yourself and others safe and healthy.  REMEMBER: It is solely up to you to protect yourself from the Corona virus.  We can offer recommendations, but it is up to you to follow them to keep yourself, as well as everyone around you, as safe as possible!

Respectfully,
Board of Directors,
April 15, 2021
